When people hear "map" they think of utilitarian apps that help them physically navigate the world. The Snap Map feature on Snapchat isn't about navigating streets, it's about navigating culture. It's a heat map of 'what's happening' brought to you by fellow Snapchatters. As part of the Open Your Snapchat campaign, the brand launched a series of spots romancing the wonder of wandering on the Snap Map. The creative tells the story of ephemerality highlighting intimate first-hand moments from around the world in a way only the Snap Map can.
My role as Sr. Creative on the project was to ideate and pitch creative wrappers for the campaign, collaborate with copy partners to develop storyboards, implement cohesive visual treatments across deliverables, and art direct live action shoots and motion design during the production process.
